A wedding at BO:KA Pub: a magic mirror, 7 hours of party and 467 prints
At a wedding at BO:KA Pub, guests used the magic mirror 362 times and printed 467 photos. The busiest hour was 7–8 pm: 69 pictures.
On Wednesday 14 October a wedding was celebrated at BO:KA Pub, and our magic mirror was one of the centres of the party all evening. The first guests stepped up at five o'clock and the last photos were taken after midnight.

“Tantsime koos elu ilusaks!”
Every photo was printed on the spot with the wedding design: a white frame, delicate hearts, the date and the couple's chosen line “Tantsime koos elu ilusaks!” (“Let's dance life beautiful together!”). In the end there were even more prints than sessions – 467 prints for 362 sessions – because many guests took a copy for their partner or a friend.
The busiest hour: 7–8 pm
In the middle of the evening things got really busy at the mirror – between 7 and 8 pm guests took 69 pictures, more than one a minute. The pace stayed high afterwards too: close to 60 pictures an hour until 10 pm. That is typical for weddings – once the dancing starts, everyone wants to capture the moment.
Mirror, backdrop and props
The magic mirror greeted guests from afar: a light frame, “Touch the screen and let's take a picture!” on the screen, and a choice of Estonian, Russian or English. Behind it stood a sparkly fabric backdrop and next to it a table of props – hats, heart headbands and funny signs.
Tips for a wedding photo corner
- Put your own line on the frame. The couple's motto or a song lyric makes every photo a personal keepsake.
- Plan for a long evening. At BO:KA Pub guests took photos for seven hours, busiest in the middle of the evening.
- Place the mirror near the dance floor. When the photo corner is at the heart of the party, guests keep coming back.
- Pick a backdrop in your wedding colours. A light or sparkly backdrop suits almost any wedding style.
